Stefani Cudic

Stefani’s goal is to build a lifelong legal relationship with each client one pivotal life moment at a time. To that end, she has focused her practice in the specific areas of estate planning, probate, elder law, real estate, business formation and fraud consultation. She provides personalized legal services unique to each individual client’s needs – both legal and financial.

Ask Stefani where she grew up, and she will say “the South”; however, she has called South Carolina home for over twenty years. Stefani obtained her law degree from Charleston School of Law, where she attended part-time in the evenings while working full-time during the day. During her tenure at Charleston, Stefani was awarded the Cali Award for Excellence in both Torts and Constitutional Law. She participated in pro bono work in law school focused on free wills clinics provided to low-income recipients located in various areas of the Low Country.

Prior to her practice of law, Stefani worked thirteen years in the financial services industry in the areas of fraud investigations, prevention, and operational controls. During this time, she analyzed accounts for potential fraud, developed processes and procedures, developed training content and presentations, conducted training sessions for employees, and presented on fraud to external groups. Stefani began her legal career practicing with a general practice firm where she focused primarily on family law and estate planning issues and additionally worked on civil litigation, landlord/tenant, deed preparation, and probate matters. Through this experience, Stefani gained valuable experience which she has incorporated in her current solo practice.

Stefani is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). She also is a member of the state chapter of the ACFE – Palmetto Chapter ACFE – where she currently serves as Vice President. Stefani’s other memberships include the South Carolina Bar, the American Bar Association (ABA), the Greenville County Bar Association, and the Laurens County Bar Association.
